Why Uzbekistan suits many firms
Many people there have already worked abroad. Moving to another country is not a strange idea for them.
Construction, production, logistics and farming offer a lot of practical experience. Formal records are missing more often than in Türkiye.
That is why we check especially carefully on the ground. Experience without a record we label openly as such.
How training works in Uzbekistan
After school the vocational route runs through colleges and technikums. Young people learn a trade there with a strong practical share.
Universities award degrees as Bakalavr and Magistr. Engineering, medicine and agriculture are well represented.
A state body prepares workers specifically for employment abroad. This includes language courses and technical preparation.
Many candidates learned their trade on the job. A certificate for it does not always exist.
- College or technikum: vocational training after school, close to practice.
- Bakalavr: first university degree, usually four years.
- Magistr: the degree building on it.
- Practical experience: often without a certificate, but with long service.
Occupations we are asked for most
The list below shows what German firms ask us for most often. It says nothing about the number of candidates available.
- Bricklayers, concrete workers, drywall fitters and site assistants
- Welders, metalworkers and steel fabricators
- Machine operators and production assistants
- Lorry drivers, forklift operators and warehouse staff
- Chefs, kitchen assistants and service staff
- Care assistants and support staff in care homes
Language and German levels
The official language is Uzbek, written in Latin script. Russian is widespread in working life.
Many learn German only for the move. Tashkent and other cities have language centres and examination options.
We record the level on the European scale from A1 to C2. Anyone attending a course states the target and the exam date.
For regulated professions the authorities often require a set level. Which one depends on the occupation and the federal state.
Recognition in outline
An Uzbek certificate does not count automatically in Germany. The check asks whether the training broadly matches a German one.
In regulated professions recognition is a condition for the work. In many trades it is not.
For a residence permit as a skilled worker equivalence is usually required anyway. In certain cases work experience also counts.
A specific body is always responsible, depending on occupation and federal state. That body alone decides on the application.
Documents normally need a translation and a certification. The competent body tells you which form is required.
If a record is missing altogether, we say so. We do not submit papers we have not checked.
Our local partners
In Uzbekistan we work with regular partners. They speak the language and know the training institutions in their region.
They hold the first conversation, review documents and explain the route honestly. Anything unclear they settle with us.
Candidates pay nothing for this. If anyone asks for money, that is a warning sign and should be reported to us.
Every partner has a code. Candidates can confirm it themselves on the check page.
The process step by step
The route is similar for all countries of origin. Differences arise mainly in documents and authorities.
- You report your staffing need with the role, the conditions and your target date.
- Our partners approach suitable candidates and check their details.
- You receive profiles without names and choose who you want to speak to.
- After the offer, the contract and the papers for the procedure are prepared.
- The candidate applies for the visa at the competent German mission abroad.
- After arrival come registration, the residence permit and the induction at work.
What we do not promise
We name no fixed deadlines. Visa, residence and recognition are decided by the authorities.
We employ nobody and hire out nobody. The contract is made directly between the firm and the worker.
We say no when a profile does not fit. A polished profile costs both sides time and money.
Frequently asked questions
Do skilled workers from Uzbekistan need a visa?
For work in Germany a residence permit is normally required. It is applied for before entry at the competent German mission abroad. The authorities decide on the application.
What do you do when records are missing?
We record what is documented and what is not. If a certificate is missing, we look at other routes, for example through work experience. Whether that is enough is decided by the competent body.
How good is communication at the start?
That depends on the course and the occupation. Many start with basic German and keep learning at work. Tell us which level your role really requires.
Are there cultural differences at work?
As everywhere, habits differ, for example around breaks and holidays. A short conversation in the first week clears up most of it. We prepare both sides for that.
Do candidates pay anything to Regalis or to the partners?
No. Our work is free of charge for candidates. Our fee is paid by the employer alone, once a placement succeeds.
This page gives general information and does not replace legal advice. Recognition, visa and residence are decided by the competent authorities alone.
