For employers

Costs and process

You pay a fee only if the placement succeeds. Here you can read what it covers and which costs lie with you.

A fee only on success

Reporting your need is not binding and costs nothing.

Before we search, we sign a written placement agreement with you. It states the amount of the fee.

A fee is only due if the placement is successful. The agreement defines what counts as success.

What the fee covers

  • Search for suitable candidates in the countries of origin
  • Pre-selection and interviews by our local partners
  • Checks of information and documents before the introduction
  • Introduction of the profiles and coordination of the interviews
  • Coordination of the documents for recognition, visa and entry
  • One fixed contact until the start of work

When the fee is due

When you pay is set out in the placement agreement. Some agreements provide for instalments, for example when the employment contract is signed and when work starts.

What counts as success is set out in the placement agreement.

What you bear yourself

Some costs do not arise at Regalis but at the authorities or in your business.

  • Accommodation or help with finding a home

For the first months, you provide accommodation or actively help with finding a home, for example with a contribution to the rent. You agree with the person how the rent is handled.

  • Recognition of the qualification

If the occupation needs recognition, the competent body charges fees, and translations often come on top. You agree with the person who pays them.

  • Visa and procedure

The visa fees are paid by the person or by your business, depending on what you agree. If you use the fast-track procedure for skilled workers, the authority charges a fee for it.

  • Onboarding

Onboarding and support in the first weeks take time in your business.

Skilled workers from the EU

For skilled workers from the EU, for example from Greece, there are no visa costs. Costs for recognition only arise in regulated professions.

Candidates pay nothing

We do not ask candidates for money. This applies to search, introduction and placement.

An example without figures

  1. 1

You are looking for two cooks and a kitchen helper and report all positions in one request.

  2. 2

We sign the placement agreement. Then we introduce profiles to you.

  3. 3

You hire two people. For each of these placements the agreed fee falls due, at the times set out in the agreement.

  4. 4

We keep searching for the third position. As long as nobody is hired there, no fee arises for it.

  5. 5

You bear the accommodation or the help with finding a home, official fees and onboarding as described above.

The example only shows the principle. Your agreement is what counts.

Frequently asked questions

What does a placement cost?

A placement fee falls due only on successful placement. We agree the amount with you in writing beforehand.

Reporting a staffing need through the website commits you to nothing and triggers no payment obligation.

When is the placement fee due?

Only when the placement is successful. The placement agreement sets out the timing and what counts as success. Reporting your need triggers no payment.

Which costs do we bear ourselves?

Accommodation for the first months or help with finding a home, plus onboarding in your business. Fees for recognition and the visa are paid by you or by the person, depending on what you agree. We go through the details with you in a call.

What happens after we say yes?

You sign the employment contract directly with the person. Where needed, recognition and the visa follow, then entry and the start of work. Regalis coordinates the documents and remains your contact.

Can I report several positions in one request?

Yes. In the questionnaire you add more positions below the first one, up to ten in one request. For each position you state the job, number of people, start date, German level and accommodation.
