Your route to Germany
-
1
Profile or quick application
Create a profile or send a quick application. A local partner gets in touch and holds the first interview in your language.
-
2
Collect documents and have them translated
Collect certificates, references and other proof. They have to be translated and usually certified. The responsible office and the German mission abroad say which form is required.
-
3
Clarify recognition
We clarify with you whether your occupation is regulated and which office is responsible. Only this office in Germany decides on recognition.
-
4
Learn German
Start learning German early. Which level is required depends on the residence title, the occupation and the position.
-
5
Introduction to a company
With your consent we present your profile to a suitable company. A video call often follows. The company decides whom it hires.
-
6
Employment contract and visa
You sign the employment contract directly with the company. You apply for the visa at the responsible German mission in Türkiye, which decides on it. The German missions in Türkiye explain on their websites how appointments and applications work.
-
7
Arrival
After arrival, the company guides the first steps. We remain available until the first day at work.
Documents
For recognition and the visa you need complete documents. Most of them are in Turkish. They have to be translated and usually certified. Only have translations made by recognised translators.
Pay attention to the spelling of your name. Turkish letters are rendered differently in documents. Differences between passport, certificate and contract lead to queries.
The page on your occupation shows which additional proof your occupation needs. You can add missing documents to your profile later.
- CV with details of former employers
- Passport with sufficient validity
- School, training or university certificates with a subject overview
- References and proof of work experience
- Certificates of competence and other certificates, where available
- Language certificates
Learning German
Many schools in Türkiye teach German as a second foreign language. The large cities have language schools and recognised test centres. Online courses add to classroom teaching but rarely replace it completely.
Language skills are described on the European scale from A1 to C2 and proven through recognised examinations. Attending a course alone is not proof. The responsible office says which examination is recognised in the individual case.
There is no fixed level for everyone. What is required depends on the residence title, the occupation and sometimes the federal state.
