Logistics: staff from abroad

Warehouses and dispatch centres need staff for picking, goods receipt and packing.

  • Warehouse assistant
  • Warehouse logistics specialist
  • Order picker
  • Forklift driver
  • Goods receipt
  • Dispatch worker
  • Packer
  • Warehouse shift lead

Distribution centres work to clear routines. New staff are ready to work after a short briefing.

The warehouse asks less of language than other areas. Our standard is still German at A2 or higher with a recognised certificate. What also counts is reliability, pace and accuracy.

A forklift licence is a real advantage. Many sites will train people themselves when the basics are right.

Typical requirements

  • German at level A2 or higher with a recognised certificate, more depending on the task
  • A forklift licence is an advantage, retraining on site is possible

  • Physical stamina for lifting and walking

Typical working conditions

  • Two or three shift operation on a fixed plan
  • Instruction on scanners and industrial trucks
  • Work clothing and safety shoes are provided
  • Works transport at the edges of the day
